Hugo Toovey is a Major in the Australian Army, founder of 25 STAY ALIVE, and a keynote speaker recognised with the 2025 Australian Mental Health Prize (lived experience). Still in his early 30's, Hugo has lived through serious illness twice, repeated major surgeries and ongoing uncertainty.

Rick Fontyn began his broadcasting career in 2009 when, as a volunteer, he hosted a local sport show on ABC Radio in Launceston. After auditioning and landing a role at Southern Cross Television (now 7 Tasmania News) in 2012, Rick became a regular on TV screens as a News and Sports presenter in Tasmania.
Rick as been MC at the Devonport Gala for 4 years and is proud to support Cancer Council Tasmania in this way.
