Permit

Promotion period: Nine weeks
- Raffle Opens: 9am, Monday 11th October 2021
- Raffle Closes: 11.59pm, Friday 10th December 2021
- Raffle Draw: 12pm, Monday 13th December 2021
Prize
Prize: Paspaley Earrings valued at $4,920
2,000 tickets are available to purchase online by credit or debit card and 950 physical tickets are available to purchase by credit, debit card or cash
Purchasers must be 18 years or older.
Only 2,950 tickets at $5 each.
The winner will be notified by phone and email. The first, last name and winning ticket number of the winner will be published online by 5pm on Tuesday 14th December 2021 on the Cancer Council NT Raffle website, the Cancer Council NT Facebook page and in the NT News.
The winner must provide their official winning raffle ticket in order to claim their prize.
All times and dates published on our website, in our promotional material and the terms and conditions are listed in Australian Northern Territory Time unless otherwise stated.
Raffle Proceeds
Proceeds received by Cancer Council NT will help fund vital cancer support programs for Territory cancer patients and their families.
Additional Donations
During the ticket purchasing process, purchasers may also elect to make an additional donation to Cancer Council NT on top of their ticket purchase. These additional donations are tax deductible and 100 per cent of each donation will go directly to Cancer Council NT.
Please note, raffle tickets are not tax-deductible.
Publicity
The Promoter may use prize winner details for promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, the Prize Winner agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).
Prize
The Prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash and must be accepted as awarded.
The Prize is available for viewing at Cancer Council NT, Unit 2, 25 Vanderlin Drive, Wanguri NT 0810.
Conduct of draw
The prize draw will be conducted by executives of Cancer Council NT at its offices at Unit 2, 25 Vanderlin Drive, Wanguri NT 0810.
The winner will be determined by a random number generator.
Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out by the Director General of Licensing NT. If prizes are unclaimed for more than 3 months after the date of the draw must be surrendered to the Director General of Licensing NT.
Refunds
Refunds of tickets are generally not accepted. If a refund is endorsed by Cancer Council NT, the request will need written approval of the Gaming and Wagering Commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws.
Purchasers
Excluded purchasers
Tickets must not be purchased by: Cancer Council NT staff, its board members, executive team members, and during the conduct of a draw, if the Cancer Council NT CEO (or delegate) conducting the draw is satisfied that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn. If the Cancer Council NT CEO (or delegate) is satisfied after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that an excluded purchaser is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize. The decision of the Cancer Council NT CEO (or delegate) will be final and binding.
Confirming winners
In the event that there is any doubt or dispute as to the identity of the winner or as to the manner in which the prize is to be paid then the matter will be referred to the Cancer Council NT CEO (or delegate) for resolution.
The decision of the CEO shall be final and binding. The CEO will not be acting as an arbitrator and the CEO’s decision shall not be subject to challenge or review.
Acceptance
By purchasing tickets and participating in the Paspaley Pearl Earrings Raffle you are deemed to accept these Terms and Conditions.
